We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is "profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." (1 Timothy 3:16) It is without error in the original autographs, preserved with great accuracy throughout history by God’s sovereign power. It is the only rule for faith and practice.
We believe in the trinity and unity of the one true God: God the Father, God the Son who is Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is the Father and the Creator of all things. He is sovereign, gracious and good, and we hold to these doctrines in our belief and practice.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. We believe he lived a sinless life, died for the forgiveness of the sins of his people, rose again from the dead, and is coming again at the end of time to rightly judge all mankind. He is our compassionate and mighty Savior, Lord and King and ought to be worshipped and obeyed.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God and that the gifts he gives are still in full operation in the lives of believers and in the church today. We believe that all things pertaining to his gifts must be done "decently and in order." (1 Corinthians 14:40)
We believe that all men are born sinful and need to be saved from their own sinful natures. In our sinfulness we no longer desire fellowship with God and are deserving only of his just wrath. Thus, we must be restored to a right relationship with him. This is accomplished by God himself who, in his grace, gives life to dead hearts through faith in Jesus' death in our place and his resurrection from the dead.
We believe that the church exists to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, to love and support the family of God, and to glorify the Father by the good works he has given us to do.
