About

Sunday Morning Service

Our worship service starts at 9:30 am on Sundays. Service begins with a time of praise and worship followed by congregational prayer. We then move to the preaching of The Word and finish the service with Communion and a time for personal prayer. During the sermon, children have the option to attend one of our two children church classes (3 yo – 1st grade or 2nd – 5th grade). Following the worship service there’s a short break before Sunday school begins. Feel free to grab coffee in the lobby!

We would love to meet you!

We Are Christ Church

Christ Church began over 30 years ago as the founding pastor began to experience a supernatural move of the Holy Spirit. He responded by planting a church that would be founded in scripture, built on the heritage of the Protestant reformation, Presbyterian, and fueled to serve through the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. In the years that followed, the Lord chose to reveal himself in signs and wonders, as well as through the teaching and preaching of his word, and the fellowship of his people. We seek to carry this heritage beyond the walls of the building, serving and ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples of Christ until he comes again.

We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” (1 Timothy 3:16) It is without error in the original autographs, preserved with great accuracy throughout history by God’s sovereign power.  It is the only rule for faith and practice.

We believe in the trinity and unity of the one true God:  God the Father, God the Son who is Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is the Father and the Creator of all things. He is sovereign, gracious and good, and we hold to these doctrines in our belief and practice.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. We believe he lived a sinless life, died for the forgiveness of the sins of his people, rose again from the dead, and is coming again at the end of time to rightly judge all mankind. He is our compassionate and mighty Savior, Lord and King and ought to be worshipped and obeyed.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God and that the gifts he gives are still in full operation in the lives of believers and in the church today. We believe that all things pertaining to his gifts must be done “decently and in order.” (1 Corinthians 14:40)

We believe that all men are born sinful and need to be saved from their own sinful natures. In our sinfulness we no longer desire fellowship with God and are deserving only of his just wrath. Thus, we must be restored to a right relationship with him. This is accomplished by God himself who, in his grace, gives life to dead hearts through faith in Jesus’ death in our place and his resurrection from the dead.

We believe that the church exists to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, to love and support the family of God, and to glorify the Father by the good works he has given us to do.

Where God Leads

Mission

To invite people into a personal relationship with Jesus and His followers, where they grow in TRUTH, LOVE and the POWER of GOD.

Vision

To continually become a community of those who so love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and sacrificially love
each other that the witness of that love permeates and transforms the world around us, recognizing that
relationship is the goal of creation and that unity in diversity is evidence of Divine Order.

Function

To make Kingdom Life the normal life of the Church through cell group ministry that touches the lives of
members in multiple ways. Teams and small groups comprise the cells that make the Body of Christ whole in
order that worship, discipleship, healing and growth occur in the regular rhythm of the life of the Church.

Foundation

Jesus is God. Co-equal with the Father and Holy Spirit, Jesus condescended to human form to bridge the gap between the Holy God and a helpless, sinful human race. Jesus revealed the sacrificial love of the Godhead by becoming the one and only sacrifice sufficient to satisfy the righteous wrath of God against unrighteous
humankind. Jesus delivers from death to life all those for whom He died who believe in Him, trust in the efficacy of His atonement, and submit in humble obedience to Him as Lord.
